‘Shōgun’, ‘Only Murders in the Building’, Timothée Chalamet and Demi Moore among winners at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2025.
The winners of the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards were revealed in a ceremony on Sunday in Los Angeles. The awards, which are voted on by other performers, honour the best film and TV performances of the last year.
Shōgun has continued the success it’s enjoyed at other award ceremonies with four wins for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for Hiroyuki Sanada, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for Anna Sawai, Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series.
Only Murders in the Building was the other multi-award winner of the night with Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for lead Martin Short, and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Other notable wins of the evening include Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for Timothée Chalamet in A Complete Unknown, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for Demi Moore in The Substance, and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for Spotlight member Jessica Gunning in Baby Reindeer.
