Here are all the winners from the 38th Annual Artios Awards

For the first time since the 2020 awards, the Artios Awards return to a full house in-person to celebrate the outstanding achievements in casting. Taken from the Greek phrase for ‘perfectly fitting’, Artios symbolises the extreme efforts put in by casting professionals for film, television, short form and theatre.

The Artios Awards are presented by Spotlight and the Casting Society of America (CSA). This year’s ceremony was hosted by Community and Disenchanted actress Yvette Nicole Brown, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Alongside the category awards is a selection of honorary awards put in place to recognise industry professionals. This year’s honorary awards are:

  • The Lynn Stalmaster Award — Rita Moreno (Actress)
  • The Hoyt Bowers Award — Leslee Feldman (Casting Director)
  • The Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award — Jessica Sherman (Casting Director)
  • The Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award — Black Theatre United

German casting director, Simon Bär, will be posthumously awarded the European Capelier-Shaw Award for Excellence in Casting for her work on the BAFTA award-winning Netflix film, All Quiet on the Western Front.

Celebrating the great work of casting directors from around the world, the winners of the 2023 Artios Awards are…
